Strangers in the Barn, by Jim Laughter (and 4RV Publishing), is scheduled for upload to the printers in September. Just in time for Christmas orders! I guess that means I best be hoppin', huh?
It will be 24 pages long, and with full color, digital paintings, just like on the cover. I think kids will really associate with the retelling of the Christmas Story with real life, using this realistic style of illustration.
I can't wait for ya'll to see some of the illos. I hope Jim has me do a book trailer.
I don't want to spoil it, but you've never heard the Christmas Story told quite this way, I bet.
I'll only be able to share three illos, so keep an eye out for updates.
