Another project I can thank Twitter for (don't ya just love free networking sites), a character creation project for a book titled Daniel Cringle and the Warth of Edinburgh.
The characters were not intended for inside the book, but rather outside of it (on the back cover, I believe), plus, to be used on the book's website as interactive visuals. So far, only two of the six are on the site, but I expect the others to be added soon.
The first and most important character is Daniel Cringle. Normally, I'd tell you about him, but this time, I'd rather send you to the Deeds Publishing website to get the scoop on Daniel and the book since that is what the image was created for: to guide you to his description via a roll-over button. Just follow Daniel's image once you get there.
The other image that shares Daniel's site was a fun one. Ms. Rose Maldroid. A beautifully dark character! And if you notice, when I say dark, I don't mean dark complected ... lol. You've got to swing over and read her bio, too. I put a lot of hints about her demeanor in the illustration. Every nuance of her pose tells us about her.
From the seductive stance to the look of disdain on her face and the practically clawing, manicured hand. I love villains! She's so regally horrid ... lol.
I hope to be able to share the other characters soon. In the meantime, head on over to Deeds Publishing and read-up on Don Stratton's Daniel Cringle and the Warth of Edinburgh.
It's available in eFormats and for pre-ordered hard copies.
Until next time...
