'The Sheriff' ... A Wandering Warrior has another scene for the book trailer. Now all I need to do is put the trailer together and share it with everyone. :D

A Wandering Warrior ... When a book cover hits close to the heart. Of course, I have a special connection to every book cover I create. Even though I rarely get to read the text, I end up discovering the character and story ...

Oh, and it's already available for purchase through 4RV Publishing:

Also available on Amazon. :D

Onto wrapping up the next book :D

Kraken Station ... One just for me.

Although I love what I do, create images for other people's books and stories, I try to do an image just for me/my folio about once every three - six months. Actually, I am discovering I HAVE to do a few 'just because'. Something in me takes hold, and I can't think on my commissioned work until I finish it.

Luckily, I get my own images done somewhat faster than I can get commissioned work done. It probably has to do with the fact that I don't have to take the time to get into someone elses head; the 'story' is already in my head itching to get out.

The image pops into my head quite suddenly. Then I have to bring to get it out within a relatively short timeframe, or I get grumpy ... lol.

Well, let me know what you think. I'm still sorta new to the sci-fi genre, as far as my images are concerned (I usually read fantasy but watch sci-fi films). I tend to gravitate toward fantasy, but my mental eye seems to be shifting ... Looking forward to your feedback. :D

'Scepter of the Nile' ~ cover art and design for Ross Homer (@RossGHomer)

I really enjoyed working on this one. Took me back to my fine art & art history studies ...

Blurb:

This adventure begins over eight thousand years ago and continues to this day. What does the first queen of Egypt have in common with archeologists from both Ankara and Tel Aviv and a private investigator from Houston, Texas? And Cleopatra? What has she to do with this?
What they have in common is a box. A simple metal box that was meant to stay hidden forever.
There are tomb raiders and artifact thieves who would do anything to make the box theirs. They will kill and torture just to claim it. What is in this box that is so alluring?

Peter Carpenter and Eliana Amendola set out to find the answer. They will face murderers, thieves, kidnappers and a breathtaking yacht. They will travel from Houston, to London to Tel Aviv and then…Hillsboro, TX in pursuit of this mysterious metal box.

On wet days, when she can’t be out in her garden, and there are no students commandeering her time, she loves to sit and write. She writes children’s stories and short stories, as well as occasional articles for magazines.
