Just a quick post to recap some of what I did at MidSouthCon 34 this past weekend ...
This being the first time in the last three years that I WASN'T sick, just getting out of the hospital, or heading for the hospital, which implies success in and of itself, I got to see some old friends, impart what little wisdom I've fooled a few into believing I have to offer in a few panels, and I also managed to sell a few prints. All in all, a successful con.
Last count I heard was 2250 in attendance, but I've also been told final tally isn't confirmed, yet. I didn't have a lot of time to collect pictures but did manage a couple. One of a fun-to-watch trio and one of my art room display.
Asside from the dual Deadpools and Harley Quin, I saw a Castiel and Dean, a Mulder and Scully, and an Abby Sciuto. I'm sure there were many more, but I went to bed before the masqurade.
I also officially turned 45 during this con and my son and his best friend celebrated by surprising me with a fancy raspberry sherbert, a gourmet chocolate muffin, and a full-body toilet paper/tissue treatment. I came home to 1268 emails and a much-needed vacation.
|and one I can't show at the request of the author|
According to my preliminary list, I sold the following prints. Two were created for book cover art (one being The Lure, by Ross Homer, on the far right), and the three on the left were all personal visions.
Onto wrapping up the next book
Until next time ...
